Game-A-Thon On!

It's on! After months and months of anticipation, or maybe a few weeks, the Game-A-Thon is finally here... tears of joy, following by a mad dash for multiple credit cards, would be the appropriate reaction here...

Eric, enough "Thanks" already. Your "Thanks" are costing me an arm and a leg. :-)

GameoftheDay said...

Ross, I hope you mean that in a good way!

There is a smiley at the end of my post.

Out of curiosity, when does Google register the purchase in regards to inventory. Is it when you click the "Buy" button, or when you complete the purchase transaction?

Ross said...

Your pulling some nice "No Thanks" games out also.

Joshua Buergel said...

I'm trying to buy Colosseum, which is still in the list, and it's telling me it's not there. Is that a phantom listing?

Unknown said...

What's everyone's take on On the Underground? I have Ticket to Ride, Transamerica, and other point to point connection style games. Is this one worth adding to my growing collection of games that I can only play once or twice? :P

Brandon Pennington said...

Thanks for putting Coloretto and Starship Catan on there Rob!

I sent you a message regarding another one I purchased earlier.

David said...

'On the Underground' looks good to me, and it looks different enough from Ticket to Ride and the Trans-Euro-America games.

I am debating getting it myself, but I just jumped in and bought some other crazy stuff on here. I think Game of the Day is becoming pure evil!

Unknown said...

On the Underground sort of reminds me of Powergrid (one of my personal favorite games) which is one reason why it seems pretty appealing to me.

Though, that comes just from looking over the board and bits. I haven't read enough about it to know how it actually plays.

Joshua Buergel said...

Eric, I have 10 minutes before I have to go to the next session at this conference, any chance to see one of these before I have to dash?

Boomtown
Feudo
Cosmic Eidex
Dungeoneer: Wrath of the Serpent Goddess
Qwirkle
Tide of Iron

Some of those are long shots, I know.

Ross said...

Eric, I'll bet, if you put those games up one at a time, that Joshua will miss the first part of his next session.

Joshua Buergel said...

Am I that predictable? I am. It's sad.

Actually, I think I could probably get dial-up going through my phone and buy stuff within the session. Hmm, tempting...

Ross said...

Put the mouse down and slowly step away from the computer.

Ross said...

I can see Eric running around the office yelling "I'll show him. Now where did I stash that copy of Qwirkle?"

GameoftheDay said...

FYI: This Game-A-Thon will close shortly after midnight tonight. Those following release dates understand the timing. :)

Unknown said...

For those interested in On the Underground, it is far more complicated than TTR or TA. Yes, you build track, but there is a passenger that is going from one place to another and he wants to take him to his destinations with the fewest hops and less walking.

As for a request, could we see Hansa?

Finally, to Eric, I can't wait for midnight. I'm looking forward to the release of........ (figure it out guys!)

Hutch said...

any chance of getting burg appenzell up?

ggiersch said...

Wow! I just picked up a copy of Hamster Rolle. I am so glad I picked up Bamboleo last time. I need a few awesome dexterity games for the classroom. Always guaranteed winners! Thanks for another great 'thon. I'll be lurking for more goodies before midnight.

David said...

Well, I tried to get 'On the Underground' but it didn't give me the option of 'Local Pickup' for some reason. Ah well, it was probably for the best. :)

fsumarc said...

1408? I am.

Joshua Buergel said...

Well, thank you modern technology! I suspect my battery won't last forever, but I'm back online.

Unknown said...

I'll second the request for Hansa!

Unknown said...

I guess I need to follow release dates more closely. The only game that was on my watch list for this summer was Notre Dame, which I picked up a few weeks back..

GameoftheDay said...

Gashlycrumb: Try again now.

Joshua: Try again now.

Joshua Buergel said...

If it makes you feel better, I don't know what they're talking about either. I went to Gone Cardboard on Boardgame News, and I didn't see anything that was jumping out at me. The only thing I know about June 22 is that that was the date of Operation Barbarossa.

Bookseller Bill said...

I think its Caylus Magna Carta

Steven said...

How about Domaine or Hollywood Blockbuster? I've been looking to get these for a while now.

Good time so far, got two items!

Joshua Buergel said...

Got it, thanks!

Unknown said...

Didn't they already have Caylus magna Carta up? I thought I saw people talking about it earlier in this thread.

..Reread the thread and... Never mind. My reading comprehension has failed me again. :D

Joshua Buergel said...

Feudo, awesome, thanks! Technology is awesome.

Steven said...

Holy Crap! I asked for Domaine and there it is! I am now all about the Game-A-Thons. Tanga-who?

Joshua Buergel said...

And Boomtown! Life is good. Do you have some of the other recent releases, like Stack Market or Attribute?

Joshua Buergel said...

Yeah, it's wild how a suggestion here turns into an offering so fast. My laptop is starting to die, sadly, I'm going to have to bow out soon. Stupid Google Checkout doesn't work with my phone's browser. I know, I've tried.

Steven said...

I'm here for one hour of Game-A-Thon and I'm in for four games! Would have been five if I could have canceled my Tanga order from yesterday, but it had already shipped.

Unknown said...

Out of curiosity, how many games do most of you own? And how often do you play? Do you feel your get your money out of each game you buy?

I think my collection is probably medium sized. I don't have hundreds of games -- maybe 30-40 or so. But I don't get to play as often as I'd like. Maybe one to two games a week on average.

I'm pretty sure that I'm impulsive when it comes to game purchases, so maybe I need to be pickier. Seeing as I have games that I'm not sure I'll get to the table more than once if at all, I may have to slow down again with the purchases.

fsumarc said...

Eric,
Just wanted to say thanks for another great 'thon before it closes! I dropped in a request early and you filled 4 of the 5 as well as one I forgot I was wanting! very cool!

Enjoy whatever it is you're waiting for at midnight. you deserve the break! you gonna tell us? I made my guess.

Unknown said...

Thanks Eric for Hansa. I've been playing that game on www.mabiweb.com for several months now. It is a wonderful game.

Brandon Pennington said...

thank you for helping get rid of my money Rob!

Brandon Pennington said...

woops, I mean Eric :) got confused there for a second.

Joshua Buergel said...

I'm really bad - I've always loved games, just owning them, and I told myself when I was a kid that when I had a real job, I'd buy lots of them. Well, I kept that promise: according to my collection at BGG, I'm up to 1421. That's not 100% accurate, since I know I haven't entered all my Cheapass games and stuff from Command Magazine, and of course expansions are counted separately from the games. But I'm a far outlier on game ownership, probably in the top 20 on BGG.

I get a chance to play games a couple times a week most weeks, with a regular role-playing session and usually at least one board/card games get-together. I usually have the chance to play a two player game or two a week with my wife as well.

Steven said...

I own about 70 games. Unfortunately, as of now I only have one gaming partner and we can MAYBE get together only once a month to play so I have lots of unplayed games :(

I really have no right buying new game now, but I'm determined to find a few that my wife will play with me. I picked up Coloretto and Hollywood Blockbuster this 'Thon specifically with her in mind. The other are for me and my friend :)

I keep telling myself that one day my son will be old enough to be my full time gaming partner (he's two now)!

Joshua Buergel said...

Well, the laptop is finally dying. I have about 10 more minutes, and then I'll be done until tonight. It's probably a good thing for my bank account, all things considered.

Joshua Buergel said...

Yay, my laptop held out long enough for Stack Market and Attribute. Phew! Almost didn't spend money there.

Unknown said...

Eric,

The Prince is listed as $14.99 but shows as $19.99 at checkout.

Cathy

GameoftheDay said...

Cathy I fixed it... good luck grabbing it at the Thank You price of $14.99

GameoftheDay said...

Cathy... appears Ross beat you to it.

Unknown said...

Eric (and Ross),

That's okay... I'm saving my pennies for "you know what" later tonight. Plus I'll probably have to bite on a couple of items before then. Colosseum is taunting me relentlessly!

Cathy

Unknown said...

Plus... if somehow TransEuropa and Vexation somehow happened to become a Thank You item, I'd be happy to, you know, accept the thanks... ;-)

Ross said...

With a slight lull in the action. I have a request. Would it be possible to post, on the product pages, the age range and number of players for the games?

Thank You

GameoftheDay said...

good luck!

GameoftheDay said...

Ross, we'll take your suggestion under advisement...

Ross said...

Um, I did not buy "The Prince", so I'm not sure what game you are referring to.

Amuro Ray said...

Sorry,

I think I am the one that brought The Prince. Too tempting for that price...

Sorry again if I mess something up.

--- Ken ---

GameoftheDay said...

Ross... sorry read off the wrong line. You bought Hansa a moment before Ken bought The Prince.

Yollege said...

I own 305 games currently.

I game typically once a week for 3 hours with friends, and any games I can squeeze in on the weeekends with my wife and kids.

Plus an occasional game day with my friends too.

I do feel I get my money's worth out of my games, mainly because if i don't like a game, or don't play it enough, I just make a trade on BGG and get a new game :).

GameoftheDay said...

Ken - don't apologize! This is competitive Game-A-Thoning at its best!

Ross said...

The sad part is that when I read that I had beaten Cathy to The Prince, I thought to myself "I didn't buy that, DID I?". I then went and looked at my orders to make sure.

Eric, that was nice of you to put up TA/TE & Vex for her. I hope she sees it and grabs it before "I" beat her to it again.

Amuro Ray said...

I know I shoulding be spending any more money, but the pass 2 and this game-a-thon is so tempting that I keep on spending money :-)

My credit card is very over my limit and I need to sell off some of my old games to recover the cost. Well, I have 540+ games currently and it is too many already.

Fortunately my latest games from game-a-thon get to be played more than any other games that I brought before.

Thanks Eric for such a good event and giving such good time with me family...

--- Ken ---

GameoftheDay said...

Ken - you are very welcome! It's a real pleasure and I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying what we've offered!

Unknown said...

Got T/E and Vex! Thanks, Eric! And thanks, Ros, for leaving it for me! ;-)

Cathy

David said...

For the record, I held off on TransAmerica and Vex as well. I am nice, too! :)

Unknown said...

Well, I certainly do appreciate your restraint, gashlycrumb! ;-)

Cathy

Brandon Pennington said...

yep I have had fun :) I am new to gaming as of Feb, but I have already accumulated 60+ games :P

Luckily my wife has grown to like them quite a bit. It was hard at first as she would only play really light games such as Lost Cities (our gateway), Ark of the Covenant and St. Petersburg. Funny thing is that I "made" her try Blue Moon and she loved it. It has opened up a whole new world of games to us as she is now excited for other types of games. Played our first game of Tikal tonight :)

Thanks for feeding my addiction! lol

Unknown said...

So when you said we'd see the end of the game-a-thon shortly after midnight, did you mean midnight Eastern? As in just over an hour from now?

I'd like to stay up for the finale, as I suspect there may be some competition for the last item, but I don't want to be up too late. :)

Yollege said...

I got my wife to try Blue Moon the other night with me. She was less than impressed when we tried it a couple years ago, but she actually said maybe we should buy a couple other decks and try them :).

The games that shock me that my wife likes it Runebound & Railroad Tycoon. She actually picked to play these games independently at a con last Feb (although i DID end up playing in both games, I chose RRT, and had a cancellation so I picked up RB). They are 2 of my favs, and it makes it so much better when she likes them too :).

Joshua Buergel said...

I wish I could predict ahead of time what games my wife will like and what she doesn't, but it's just a huge crapshoot. Sometimes games that I think will flop will grab her, and games that I think are slam dunks will bomb. I've just given up, ask her to play games that I want to give a try to, and let the chips fall where they may. The one exception is deduction games, which are pretty much always a hit. Mr. Jack, for instance, is one of our new favorites.

Brandon Pennington said...

I would like to pick up Mr. Jack sometime as well. I was excited that she liked Blue Moon, as I really like it. I proceeded to collect the rest of the decks and we are currently working our way through them :) I also picked up Blue Moon City which she really likes, as does her sister which always gives us something to play when she visits :)

Joshua Buergel said...

Actually, my wife loves Runebound as well, although it was less of a surprise since she likes computer games like Diablo.

GameoftheDay said...

Okay, you can choose to laugh at me or pity me... but the only games I can get my wife to play are "games" like Taboo or Apples to Apples. We tried Betrayal at House on the Hill. It was a huge uphill climb that didn't get anywhere.

I have a lot more luck playing with my 14-year-old daughter. Of course, she's enough like me that it's a little scary.

GameoftheDay said...

oh, and that would be midnight Eastern.

Joshua Buergel said...

Mr. Jack is really quite excellent, I hope that it gets a reprint once the current version is sold out. I'm going to try Blue Moon with my wife soon as well, so we'll see how it goes.

Joshua Buergel said...

I met my wife when my friends and I were playing bridge in the hallway of her dorm. Eventually, one of our four failed out and we taught her bridge so we could continue playing in her hallway. So, while she's not as big a gamer as I am, we've pretty much played games from the beginning of our relationship.

Joshua Buergel said...

Nice one Eric, there's an excellent deduction game right there. Sleuth is awesome.

GameoftheDay said...

Joshua - it's a good thing one of your foursome fell by the wayside then!

It's always interesting to think about the little events that dramatically alter our lives.

Brandon Pennington said...

I was just thinking that another kids game would be welcome.... thinking of xmas presents for my nephew.

Gulo Gulo
or Chicken Cha Cha comes to mind :P

Joshua Buergel said...

I think about that kind of thing all the time. Getting to meet her has been one of the truly great events of my life, and if my friend Erich hadn't just happened to be crashing on her floor because he didn't like his dorm room, if Chris hadn't failed out, if I didn't have the radio show giving me something to talk about that made me sound cool, if we hadn't been playing a game that made us seem smart...just so many things that could have gone wrong. And here we are, almost 14 years later, still together.

All that despite all these games that keep showing up...

GameoftheDay said...

Joshua - 14 years... that's great. What better to base a relationship on than good times with great games!

Unknown said...

Funny about all these games I've been buying. I have them all sent to the office and bring them home slowly. Sneaking them into the house yet.

However, since they've been at work my co-workers have been playing games with me at lunch. We've played For Sale, Trans America, Hey! Thats My Fish, and No Thanks. Really nice to do something different at lunch. Although they all keep threatening to tell my wife about all the games.

David said...

A lot of the games up now are expired. I can guess one game that might be coming up, but will there be others? I guess it could be like a grand fireworks finale! Granted, I really don't need the finale at this stage. :)

breity said...

How much did Hamsterrolle go for? I'm curious if I would have "bitten" or not. ;-)

GameoftheDay said...

There are still quite a few games up including several new ones... you should be seeing Elfenland, Gulo Gulo, and Chicken Cha Cha Cha. Let me know is you aren't.

Unknown said...

breity: I think it went for around 43.99?

GameoftheDay said...

I will roll it out and you can decide!

breity said...

Thanks crashcart!

GameoftheDay said...

5 minutes...

Ross said...

Eric, the only new one is Hansa. Before that was Mall World. Those are the two most recent additions.

Unknown said...

Not seeing anything new yet.....hmmmm

Brandon Pennington said...

Damn, must have missed Gulo Gulo :(

Hutch said...

any chance for a last minute burg appenzell or pitchcar? Just thought I would try, though I should really stop before my wife starts to get mad. thankfully after buying five games I'm haven't crossed that line yet, but I'm close.

GameoftheDay said...

Okay... sorry there have been a lot of new ones since then. Which may mean the midnight surprise might be a bit later.

As in previous Game-A-Thons, I will post the last item but you will be able to continue to purchase items, there just won't be new items appearing.

Steven said...

Gulo Gulo is still there

Brandon Pennington said...

It isn't showing up for me :(

Unknown said...

Since Caylus is one of my wife's favorite games and she likes card games too, I can't pass up CMC.

Thanks Eric!

Unknown said...

Hmm... How are people seeing different game than others? Mall World shows up as the most recent game posted for me...

GameoftheDay said...

Brandon - the ones you're interested in are in the list I posted too.

breity said...

Well... two people have bought it.... (Re: CMC)

Re: Hamsterrolle, though that's a dollar cheaper than anywhere else, it's still $25 more than I can cough up right now. ;-) [Some day... some day....]

Unknown said...

Does everyone have their product list sorted by most recent items posted? That might change things up a bit. Otherwise, I don't know why some people wouldn't be able to see some of the latest entries. Clear your caches, maybe?

Brandon Pennington said...

ah ok, thanks Eric!!

My God my wife is going to kill me! I know that has been said a lot around here lately...lol

Oh, and had to get Caylus Card game....... :)

Unknown said...

Glad I stayed up for this one. I figured Caylus Magna Carta would go quickly, but I'm impressed at how fast their flying off of the shelves.

Unknown said...

Got my copy of Caylus Manga Carta and picked up Gulo Gulo, too.

Thanks, Eric, for a wonderful way to end the Game-A-Thon. I believe this is also the most posts in any Game-A-Thon thread, too.

Unknown said...

Thanks Eric for the games and the time and effort you put into running game of the day!

And thanks everyone else for the conversation and discussion about games and how much our wives are going to flip out when the shipments arrive. :D

I might add another game (On the Underground) tomorrow if it's still floating around, but I'm going to sleep on it yet.

Night everybody.

Joshua Buergel said...

Got distracted and almost missed CMC. I think I got the last one, actually. Anyway, I keep it sorted by "most recent", and I see the other recent ones Eric put up.

Bringing in some quick games to play at lunch is often a great way to go. I used to do that at a previous job where I had managed to create a bunch of new gamers, and my current job has several as well. In fact, during my interview there, our chief architect opened by asking me to explain what I thought about Settlers of Catan (I had listed my interest in board games on my resume). I gave him my full list of thoughts, which of course is extensive, and I think it might have helped. The 11 years of embedded programming probably didn't hurt, but I like to pretend it was the gaming.

Bookseller Bill said...

Bah...my internet has been down the past two hours; finally get back to discover I'm too late for CMC. Oh well.

Brandon Pennington said...

Well, I think the blow of the haul of games I am getting this time will be lessened by the fact that I picked up x-mas presents for my Niece and Nephew already :)

Good thing yesterday was payday :P

Ross said...

Eric FYI, I am still seeing Mall World and Hansa at the top of the list when sorted by "Most Recent Post Date" (9:20PM PDT). None of the games that you provided links for are showing up in my browser. Firefox 2.0.0.4.

Thanks for a fun ride. I am afraid to add up what I spent, but I know I got good value for my money. Looking forward to the day the big truck arrives with the games.

Cheers

breity said...

Google Base Are Belong to Us

There, I said it. I've been wanting to for days.

Brandon Pennington said...

haha...that is awesome!

Unknown said...

Mine still shows Mall World as the most recent item as well, even with my cache cleared out a few times. Kind of annoying. At least Eric posted the links,so I was still able to snag CMC...

GameoftheDay said...

I guess it will remain a mystery as to why that happens... I have no idea why some see the new ideas and some don't.

Anonymous said...

I just wanted to post my list again, and let you know that I do purchase games from here. We just use my wife’s account since she usually sees the deals before I do. I just wanted to make that known in case that makes a difference in which games you put have on sale. :) Thanks for the great games that we have already picked up on your site.

Tide of Iron
Pitch Car Mini
Epic BattleLore
Time's Up
Darter
Mississippi Queen (though I know it's out of print)
Shifting Sands

GameoftheDay said...

Klay - I always take feedback from here and try to offer what I can. Unfortunately, from your list the only item currently available from our distribution channels is Epic Battlelore, which we did offer as part of a bundle. We'll look to offer it "solo" during the next Game-a-Thon.

Unknown said...

Looks like someone solved my On the Underground dilemma for me. There was only one left last night, and now it's gone.

Maybe next time. This way my order stays somewhat reasonable with only four new games for the collection. ;)

Steven said...

So when should I expect the items I picked up this G-A-T to ship? Is there something I need to do to let you know that my order is complete and it's safe to ship them out?

Donovan K. Loucks said...

Thanks for posting Caylus Magna Carta again this morning, Eric! I was asleep at midnight and bummed that I missed it, but there it was again at 9 a.m.!

GameoftheDay said...

Donovan - it's been hit hard... people have been looking forward to this one!

GameoftheDay said...

Crashcart - not so fast! I see another opening!

Ross said...

Good Morning Eric. I was wondering if you were doing the "most purchased" thing like you did in the past. I have no idea what it takes to get into the "Top 10", but I think I might have "succeeded" at it this time around. Just curious, since I don't remember you mentioning it the last couple of days.

Brandon Pennington said...

Good thing I went against my better judgment and picked it up then :)

Unknown said...

Darn you! It's a dollar cheaper than the previous offering too. Ugh. I think I'm gonna need a bigger [game closet/couch to sleep on].

Unknown said...

I just realized that there was one request I forgot to make yesterday: Alhambra or Alhambra with all the expansions.

Oh well....maybe next time.

Donovan K. Loucks said...

In response to crashcart's question, I own just over 1,000 games. I used to be pretty open about what I'd buy and would buy all sorts of stuff at thrift stores. Now that my collection's gotten big and I have numerous really good games that I've never played, I restrict my purchases to those games that are highly-rated on BGG. (I try to keep it at 6.85 and above for complex mathematical reasons, unless the theme interests me.)

I store all my games vertically and have a room devoted to their storage. I also bag all the components in them so nothing gets loose and I use latex-free bands around cards so they don't damage them. My games are stored in four different sections: five "Gorilla" racks for large games, four bookcases for "bookcase" games, a closet of shelves for small games, and several drawers for card games and other very small games. Within each group the games are sorted by publisher and then game name, which makes it easy to locate them. I not only have my games and plays logged on BGG, I have a big spreadsheet with all my games so I can highlight and take notes on games, as well as to print out lists when guests come over to play.

I play games with my wife every weekend and invite friends over to play for 12 hours straight about one Saturday each month. I also have a local game group that I play with and right now we're getting together every other Friday night. I go to the local game convention every year and am thinking about going to Origins this year for the first time in 22 years. When I retire next year I plan on doing a lot more game playing and focusing more on game design. My collection of games isn't just for playing -- it's also my reference library.

When my wife and I first married (over 19 years ago), it was like pulling teeth to get her to play games. But, I was also much more interested in wargames back then, so I'm not sure I blame her. I remember begging her for nearly a year to play Risk with me. She finally gave in and instantly fell in love with it. Getting her to play other games was still a struggle, but it became increasingly easier over time. Now she actually asks to play games like Princes of Florence and Goa, and she's positively crazy for St. Petersburg. Who'd have thunk it?

Brandon Pennington said...

That is crazy :) I am sure I will be the same way in few years :)

Amuro Ray said...

Donovan,

You are living in my dream. My collection is only half of yours and I am already feeling pain from my wife. Although most of my collection are wargames which she has absolute no interest in. I tried and tried to get my family into gaming and it is starting to get better (by having games that the kids can play). Well, I still have a long way to go then...

BTW, how do you get non-latex bands? I have been using regular rubber bands and it has been causing me grieve...

Later,

--- Ken ---

Amuro Ray said...

Eric,

BTW, Thanks for posting "Caylus Magna Carta" again this morning. Miss it last night as I came home too late and the East-West timezone difference.

Has to get it :-)

Unknown said...

I'm still teetering on the edge of buying OtU. I'm not sure I can do it. Without it, my total stays under a hundred bucks and at least seems a little more reasonable.

Not that I can't afford that sum.. It just seems like less of an addiction if I don't splurge and spend more than a hundred or so at a time. :P

r0xjo0 said...

I am teetering on buying Lost Cities. Will probably wait till next thon to see if I can snag if for a Thanks price though.

Unknown said...

Heheh. I was actually saved some money by things going out of stock early. I said I would wait 'til after I got back from my meeting this morning and if Hamsterrolle was still here I'd splurge and get it. :)

Donovan K. Loucks said...

Ken, I had to order latex-free bands online from Office Depot -- the stores don't carry them. They were out of stock for a while and finally got them back in. I got the neon orange ones so it's easy to distinguish between them and normal rubber bands.

For those of you that don't know, do not use normal rubber bands on your games or on components like cards. They eventually decay and can adhere to surfaces, damaging them. My first recommendation is latex-free bands -- if you can't get them, use ziploc bags or use nothing.

Bookseller Bill said...

Good to know; thanks for the tip.

Can't believe I missed ANOTHER chance at Caylus this morning; it must have gone up about 5 minutes after I left for work.

Amuro Ray said...

Donovan,

Thanks for the tip, and totally agree to the damaged it makes on the cards.

I have use regular rubberbands on my copy of Freedom in the Galaxy (Avalon Hill) some 20 plus years ago. And several years back, find out that the rubberband has declayed and gone and leave a mark on the back of the cards, thus make it unplayable unless I draw from the bottom of the deck. Very bad indeed.

Time to run out and order some latex-free ones...

Thanks again.

How long does it take for stuff from the Gameathon to ship out?

From previous experience, not all of the items for sale in Game-a-thon's are in stock at the time of the sale. This means it can take a month or more for you to receive shipment of items bought from a Game-a-thon. (I'm still waiting on items purchased from a previous Game-a-thon.) In previous Game-a-thon's, Eric (bigrob) did denote some of the games that weren't actually in stock, but I didn't see any of that this Game-a-thon. Hopefully, everything you purchased was in stock and you'll receive your games shortly...

Matt, that's correct, everything should ship out this week. The only issue at this point was with "The Prince" but it doesn't affect very many people.

The long wait for "Twilight Struggle" is part of the reason why some of the requests were unanswered during this Game-A-Thon.
