While "Game of the Day" has not been active, we have been working extensively with our fulfillment partners and focused on delivering great game values to a larger audience.
But now... we are coming back!

Yes, we can hold shipping for a bit, but we have also been told that these removal orders may take longer for FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon) to handle as they have a large number of removal orders coming in now due to the long-term storage fees FBA has imposed. In any event, we need to execute a shipment order with FBA by 8/14 at the latest, but this should meet your needs.

Thanks for putting up Galaxy Trucker: The Big Expansion. I do notice that you're basically matching prices to e-retailers on things. The free shipping is nice, but with places like Miniature Market having a $75 free shipping threshold (and I live close to the physical presence for a great online game store), the prices (imho) aren't all sale-ish. I likely would have bought Galactic Emperor if it was another $10 off; same with GT: Big Expansion. I'll keep watching the blog, and if sales are great for you -- great! If not, I encourage you to consider a greater markdown so you're beating other e-retailers by more than $0.75. Thanks!

I guess I'm the whiner -- the prices just seem sameish with other stores. I guess I'm lucky to have the HQ of one e-tailer in my town. If prices would be $5-10 cheaper, I would be the proud owner of some or all of: Galaxy Trucker: Big Expansion, Galactic Emperor, Imperial, Imperial 2030, etc.

Since I've never played either, I spent the last hour reading about the differences between Imperial and Imperial 2030, and people's differing opinions about which is better. It didn't seem like there was any kind of consensus, so I decided to just get 2030 because the theme sounded cooler, but it was sold out! :( I grabbed the original Imperial anyway, so I'll have to just hope that it's the right one. You're murdering my wallet, Eric!

Price wise I think it this way. A) this is usually cheaper than all retailers by a few bucks at least. B) retailers that are still cheaper will charge shipping (no shipping during this gameathon) unless you order over 100-150. C) so if you took all the games you wanted and bought them from the same store to get free shipping,they won't all be cheap!er and you will still pay 10-15 more (minimum).and these are for the most part not the games you have to think is this worth it. They are well reviewed and thought of games.

Sorry, when we enter the information into Amazon, we don't get a tracking number and we don't know what method FBA will use - sometimes it's USPS, sometimes UPS, sometimes Fedex.
I wish there were either 4-5 new games a day, posted at 11:00 EST or whatever, or new changes were made on a predicable basis(e.g. every 3 hours between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm) or something.
You can follow the Twitter feed and be notified when new games are posted. Or there is a thread on BGG that a bunch of people are on so it's usually updated before it even gets announced on Twitter

Sweet offerings. I spent more than I should have l but I saved a bundle to what I would have paid in shipping because I am not sure one or even two different retailers could provide all the games I got so that I would receive free shipping. So it's been 12 days since my first order shipped. Any idea how long we should expect the items to take? I don't expect fast with free shipping, but I'm pretty sure even Parcel Post should have gotten here by now.

Well, I know I ordered quite a few games, and have only received one thus far.
I ordered 2 others the day I ordered Formula D (Sunken City was at the same time).
I think it will depend on which Amazon warehouse it is coming from too. As I understand it, the mystery boxes could actually be separate shipments because of the scattering of the inventory between multiple warehouses.
Amazon ships at snail's pace for FBA, plus they are hit completely with all the FBA people purging their inventory. I am sure that patience would be the virtue that you could enjoy most now.
I got all of my stuff yesterday! Well, most of it... I'm only missing one out of 16 items.
So far the only thing that has come through town is one that Google Checkout sent to my old address -- and the current owner did 'return to sender' rather than letting me know. I'm hoping to get something soon though!!!

I hate to sound dim, but like another recent poster, I don't understand what I'm looking for. The only link I see is to the Gamut of Games store, and I don't see any "sale of the day" there. Can someone help a brother out?
I placed an order during the gameathon. I got an email saying it was shipped on the 14th, 18 days ago. I have not received it. 3 messages to the vendor have gone unanswered. I can only conclude that these people are not legitimate and I will certainly never be ordering from them again.
Joe, I cannot comment on the lack of communication from the vendor, but I can assure you that the games are shipping.
I have received Formula D, the Memoir '44 Expansions, Wooly Bully, Techno Witches, Nottingham, and Small World Underground plus 6 Mystery box games.
After looking at the language used on the packing slips, I do not think these are being shipped as customer orders. Rather, Amazon is shipping these as return to vendor overstock shipments.
This is my opinion, but I think that these shipments are not high on Amazon's priority to ship out because it isn't for customers. It is processes as a just a return of stock to a vendor.
This method may be how the free shipping could be offered.
I agree this is taking a long time and is slower than I originally expected, but I am also not surprised after looking at the packing info.
The games seem to be shipped out chunks (ie - a lot of people have received Wooly Bully and Ys). If you want to commiserate with other, try this deals thread on BoardGameGeek.com . A lot of people who got in on the order are reporting when they receive games.
