First, Medici for $19.99

breity said...

Why did you do this mere seconds after the Woot-off ended!?! Whhhyyyy?

Ah well. I'm in for Tikal. ;-)

breity said...

Do I choose the "pick up" shipping option if I want you to combine games into one shipment?

GameoftheDay said...

No. Pickup option is for locals who will stop by and pick up their games. You can't use local pickup together with "game5".

GameoftheDay said...

Second we have Kahuna for $12.99

GameoftheDay said...

Third is Puerto Rico for $22.99

GameoftheDay said...

Ooops... forgot that Tikal was also offered at $24.99. It was actually second, before Kahuna.

GameoftheDay said...

Chicken Cha Cha Cha for $22.99

Unknown said...

I'm in for a copy of San Juan. Hopefully I'll see something else to combine shipping with, but it's still a pretty good price even without additional games.

GameoftheDay said...

Pretty sure you'll find other things if you like San Juan...

San Juan was for $15.99, now we have Babel $13.99.

Unknown said...

Did the game-a-thon stall out?

GameoftheDay said...

Now we have Ricochet Robots for $14.99

GameoftheDay said...

Question: Would anyone buy "Zopp" for $120 if we offered it?

GameoftheDay said...

Now we have Carcassonne: Hunters & Gatherers for only $13.99!

GameoftheDay said...

breity, make sure you score Kahuna during the second chance!

Second chance items are not lasting long.

breity said...

Well, okay. But only because you asked nicely! ;-)

GameoftheDay said...

Whew, thank heavens he made it!

Now up... Fifth Avenue and a second chance at Puerto Rico. $21.99 each.

GameoftheDay said...

The Settlers of Zarahemla for $18.99

GameoftheDay said...

Now we have King's Breakfast for $7.99 and $4.00 shipping!

Unknown said...

keep the games coming! It's been the sabbath for me for the whole game-a-thon so far, i wouldve picked up three of the aforementioned games already! sheesh...

GameoftheDay said...

China for $20.99

breity said...

"China for $20.99"

LOL! Got that one in the last game-a-thon! :-)

Anonymous said...

Ticket to Ride gonna be for sale?

Anonymous said...

I would love to buy Carcassonne and Ticket to Ride!

GameoftheDay said...

Attika for $18.99.

Requests, anyone?

breity said...

"Requests, anyone?"

Of games you've had on this site before: Thurn & Taxis (minus the expansion), St. Petersburg, and Punct. Otherwise, if you could get good prices on Elfenland and Travel Blokus, those would be spiffy.

On the other hand (he says, looking at his bank account), maybe those wouldn't be good. How about four hours of Monopoly variants instead? ;-)

GameoftheDay said...

Australia for $22.99

Anonymous said...

Ticket to Ride request, please :)

Unknown said...

shadow of the dragon? NEXT!

GameoftheDay said...

Second chance at Fifth Avenue for $21.99

GameoftheDay said...

A Game of Thrones for $30.99

GameoftheDay said...

Justin... be careful. next could be Rocketville, Lucky Loop, or Texas-themed Uno...

Anonymous said...

I have some requests: Cave Troll, Wings of War Famous Aces, King's Gate, Runebound Island of Dread Expansion

Unknown said...

NOT TEXAS THEMED UNO! EEK...
I love this site btw. Picked up PowerGrid + expansion the other day. Absolutely fantastic...lets see more games like that, and less Bomboleo...

GameoftheDay said...

So Justin, I guess we can count you out on Zopp?

breity said...

"So Justin, I guess we can count you out on Zopp?"

Only if it has $5 shipping. ;-)

GameoftheDay said...

Cave Troll came and went at $18.99. Now we have Tichu for $7.99 and $4.00 shipping.

GameoftheDay said...

Top Secret Spies came and went at $21.99. Now we have Ra for $22.99.

GameoftheDay said...

Added upon request: Thurn & Taxis without the expansion.

E L said...

I will add in to the TTR requests.

Unknown said...

Also requesting: Lost Cities, Blue Moon and/or any Blue Moon expansions... :D

GameoftheDay said...

Inkognito for 29.99

Unknown said...

How about:

Arkadia
Princes of Florence
Ta Yu
Ticket to Ride Europe
Power Grid
Hacienda

GameoftheDay said...

Lost Cities added for $14.99 by request.

GameoftheDay said...

Wow, that was fast on Lost Cities. Arkadia is up now for only $27.99.

E L said...

Thank you! :)

Unknown said...

"Wow, that was fast on Lost Cities."

Been looking for the right opportunity to snatch that one up. 15 bucks and combined shipping with San Juan was that opportunity. ;)

GameoftheDay said...

Mü & More added for $7.99 with $4 shipping

GameoftheDay said...

Okay gang... you will want to watch the site closely. We will be picking up the pace a little bit, and interspersed will be some items at "Thank You" pricing.

Unknown said...

can we get T+T up again, and lost cities? pppprettty please?

GameoftheDay said...

Predictably, the first thank you item went quickly. Keep your eyes peeled! You have been warned!

GameoftheDay said...

only because you asked nicely...

GameoftheDay said...

Congratulations to Tyler Hudak, who scored California for $5.99.

Unknown said...

Thanks, picked up thurn!
Keep the goodies comin...

Tyler said...

WOOHOO! Glad I was watching closely!

Tyler

GameoftheDay said...

Congrats to Jason on Jericho for $1.99!

Unknown said...

Princes of florence and then bridges of shangri la for only 6.99? Youve got ot be kidding me..

GameoftheDay said...

Congrats to Justin, who picked up The Bridges of Shangri-La for $6.99.

Unknown said...

thank you thank you thank you...

Tyler said...

Is the "game5" code for every one after the first one we buy or just one after the first one we buy?

GameoftheDay said...

Around the World in 80 Days for $22.99

Unknown said...

every one

GameoftheDay said...

Tyler, it is for ALL items after the first. Use it, use it, use it!

GameoftheDay said...

Justin, thought you wanted Lost Cities again? It's been sitting waiting for you.

Unknown said...

didnt realize it was only two player...why did ra go so fast..put it up agaiN!

Unknown said...

Any chance we might see Ra again? Perhaps at Thank You pricing? ;)

Though, on second thought, since I'm not refreshing constantly, I'd probably miss it..

breity said...

Oh drat... I missed the thank you items. That's what I get for sleeping! ;-)

Is there a set time this is wrapping up today? Thanks!

Unknown said...

anyone with any thoughts on blue moon city? is it worth picking up?

GameoftheDay said...

Congratulations to Home and Breity, who somehow seemed to have "tied" for the Castle Merchants for $5.99 deal. We'll honor them both!

Unknown said...

Seemed like a pretty good price on Castle Merchants.. Was that another thank you item?

Unknown said...

I think Home might be myself? I got an email confirmation anyway. :D

Ah, yes, it seems Google Checkout used what I titled my shipping address (Home) as my name.. Wonder if that'll be a problem, as my name is obviously not Home.

E L said...

Blue Moon City is the sequel to Blue Moon and apparently it picks up where Blue Moon left off plotwise, at least my friend who really likes Blue Moon wants it a lot...

Have I mentioned blue moon enough because I really really really want blue moon, I'd buy expansions too... ;)

Unknown said...

thanks erin...think i have neough blue moon city like games...i did pick up RA though...good gift game

GameoftheDay said...

Justin - re: Blue Moon City, it's Knizia, top 100 at BGG (7.5), produced by FFG so production values are very high. BUT... it isn't for everyone. A few months ago we ran a survey of 5 games and that was the one everyone wanted offered, beating out Hannibal, Carc Big Box, Ingenious, and Twilight Imperium: Shattered Empire.

GameoftheDay said...

Okay Home, aka "Crashcart", we will send it to your address with "Crashcart" as your name instead of Home. No problem.

breity said...

Gosh, I guess I should pseudo-complain more often! :-)

I was looking at Castle Merchants seriously the other night when it was offered on... Tanga maybe? Or was it here? I don't remember. But I passed on it because I hadn't heard about it before, even though it looked kinda cool on BGG.com. However, for the price you were offering today, sign me up! :-)

Unknown said...

interesting...thanks for the input big brother

Unknown said...

Man, it looks like we got our wish with Ra.. But I'm not sure if I can explain to my wife all four games (Ra, San Juan, Lost Cities, and Castle Merchants).

..Or can I?

On a side note, do you still do a repeat customer discount? Should I be entering a code other than game5 for each game after the first?

E L said...

I want BMC too but I am getting near tapped out here...

I would take Ingenious in a hot minute, however. It is my first ever ten on BGG.

Unknown said...

I think the people that buy the most games in the game-a-thon should get a free bonus game! but thats just me...

GameoftheDay said...

Crashcart... you are recalling the "loyal customer" rebate/discount that was offered on bigcartel. That was necessary because the site did not allow coupons. The pricing at Google base already reflects the loyal customer discount.

Free games for all! Or maybe not!

GameoftheDay said...

Justin, on second thought, that's a good idea.

The person with the highest purchase total during this Game-A-Thon will receive a free mystery game. Two items to note: It will NOT be a duplicate of anything you've bought, and it will NOT be a crap game. I know you don't need a 13th copy of "Rocketville" or "Lucky Loop".

FYI, Justin, you are not in the lead.

Unknown said...

Anyone buy more than 5 yet?
my wife is gonna killllll me....
better get a game for her too! :)

Unknown said...

CRUD...how far am i behind?
Am I close?
It was a good idea wan't it?
I should get a bonus for my promotional mastermind..

GameoftheDay said...

Dang! It happened again. Another tie, meaning two people won a thank you item with a quantity of 1. Congratulations to both Justin and Juli, who scored copies of Il Principe for only $8.99!

I have to figure out how to keep Google from overselling my "quantity 1" items. In the meanwhile, feel free to take advantage of it!

Unknown said...

Well, I've bought three and considering a fourth.. But if it's more than five, I can't see myself winning that prize. Good idea, though.

Since I bought San Juan and Lost Cities so my wife and I could have more games to choose from, she'll understand when I get Ra for my buddies and I to play, right? ;)

GameoftheDay said...

Justin, you're already a winner with scoring two thank you priced items...let's just say it's very competitive for the top spot.

Unknown said...

wives can be very understanding...er...sorry she was standing behind me when i wrote that...under duress!

GameoftheDay said...

Gulo Gulo for $23.99 - tip... try this at an adult party where a few adult beverages have been consumed... hilarity will ensue!

Unknown said...

you have any Samurai left?

Unknown said...

Okay, I think I have to be done now. I'm sure I haven't spent nearly as much as some of you, but four games is my limit.... I think.

Unknown said...

thank you for samurai!

Unknown said...

pssst...if by some chance I do win the contest I wouldn't mind if Blue Moon City was the prize...

GameoftheDay said...

We are entering the final hour... We will be ending this Game-A-Thon at 3:00 PM!

breity said...

You know, for there being only one Tongiaki, it's sure taking it's sweet time! ;-)

Unknown said...

i wanted others to have a chance

GameoftheDay said...

breity, you're right.... and it's a good price too. and a good game to boot. maybe everyone already has it.

breity said...

If I hadn't bought it during the last game-a-thon, I sure would have now!

But it's gone. Someone responded to its cry of need! ;-)

E L said...

Thank you for Ingenious! A game I can beat my abstract-thinking boy at!

Any chance for Blue Moon? Here in this last half hour of our game consumerism extraveganza? ;D

breity said...

You forgot Ninja Galaxy and youcan'tcheckme! in your Mystery Game description! ;-)

Unknown said...

I'm a sucker for mystery items, but another $50 on top of what I've spent already.. Not sure I can justify it.

breity said...

That was exactly my feeling....

Unknown said...

I can't justify it, but i still bought it!

Unknown said...

As far as the mystery item goes can we indicate which games we already have so as to not get duplicates?

Unknown said...

breity: But did you buy it anyway? ;)

Fortunately for me, it sold out before I could fall for it.

breity said...

No, I did not. :-)

breity said...

I can't believe I'm not even $9.99 (with shipping) interested in a Teuber game....

Unknown said...

As per the mystery item that I purchased, please do not include the following games as I already have them:
Australia
Power Grid
Tikal.

Thank you

Anonymous said...

Man, no original carcassonne? I can't justify spending $50 on a game, sorry. And still no ticket to ride :(

breity said...

Re: TTR. Maybe the site just couldn't get a good deal with Days of Wonder in order to offer it. It's a great game, great for all walks of gamer.

GameoftheDay said...

Congratulations to Andrew on Hoity Toity and to Tyler who scored Tongiaki.

GameoftheDay said...

Okay gang, it's over...we will be tabulating the results and announcing the winner shortly of the "Free Game".

Regarding the 3-pack, none of the games will duplicate anything else you purchased during the Game-A-Thon.

Regarding TTR, I have to leave something in the tank for the next one! Thanks very much for all the input and the great response!

Eric,
Game of the Day and your MC of the "Game-A-Thon"

Thanks for the good deals and good times. I think I got away with most of what I was looking for and at a good price.

GameoftheDay said...

We have a winner! Cathy Griffin is the winner of the free game. And when we say free, we mean completely free, including shipping. She is receiving Castle Merchants in her great big box!

Later we will post the top 5 so you know how close you came and can weep and gnash teeth as appropriate.

StepUpToTheCall said...

Oh man!! What a horrendous time for my broadband to go out for 48 hrs!!?! I was in big on the first game-a-thon including China and Princes of Florence, and was looking forward to this for a while 8-\ Oh well, I'll keep an eye for next one. I suppose I'll watch the site for leftovers or second/third chances...

GameoftheDay said...

It was a VERY close competition folks... the top 5 for this Game-A-Thon were:

5... Gregg G.
4... Breity
3... Justin S.
2... Juli Ann L.

and of course, our winner...

1... Cathy G.

Thank you all for your orders and enjoy your gaming care packages! They were all shipped out today!
