However, I have a little something for those of you faithfully continuing to check the blog. Let me know what you think.
A couple of nicely-priced items at our latest site, gameotheday.com. The prices may not look sweet until you realize you get FREE super save shipping if your cart is over $25.00. So checkout gameotheday.com now!
Think Irish. Someone beat us to gameoftheday.com. :)
I checked earlier this morning, just not interested in the 3 listed games. The BIG problem I see is people going to gameo"f"theday.com and getting pissed that you sent them to another worthless search site.
I haven't decided yet... I definitely will be keeping the blog going as I highly value the feedback. So feel free to post your thoughts, positive and negative, about each site.
There are two "versions" of the blog, Blogger.com (https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=6713347544254825154&postID=5377686812261774417) and Blogspot.com (http://gameoftheday.blogspot.com/2007/07/bolide-plus-expansion-for-3899.html). As of this writing, neither of the versions have clickable links in my browser. Therefore, you would have to type, or cut and paste, in the URL.
The problem I see is that you are "gameoftheday" on newcartel, "gameoftheday" on Google, and "gameoftheday" on the blog, but "gameotheday" on your new site. To make matters more confusing, the title of your new site is "Game Of The Day." If you are going to keep the new site, I would suggest changing the name to "Game O The Day"
If I tell a friend to visit this great site called "Game Of The Day" (or even Game O The Day), they will, naturally, type in "gameoftheday.com". This will be your ONE change to hook new customers. IF they type in "gameoftheday.com" they will never come back to that site, or yours, again.
I think the similarity in the names are just too close and will hurt you BIG time in the future, especially with the name base you have built.

why is the mystery item not working on google?
None of the items are currently working on google as they are on the Canadian mirror (google.ca) and the transaction engine is not available.
Soooo, no new game for tuesday then?
You mean a new game to pretend to be able to offer to sell? No, not really. Waiting for the .com site to come back.
I am really starting to get sad. I hope they fix this soon.
Yes... aren't we all.

By the way, once they sell out, they are gone. Buh-bye.
Wow... no one is checking huh?

Hey Ross.... I think I have the links correct, don't I? So someone would have to type it rather than click the link to be lost in space.
Anyway, I did notice that Settlers card game sold out quickly. Whether that's from regular GotD buyers or not, I don't know yet.
So, are you going to discontinue using the google site and bigcartel all together now?
And, is the new site going to have a link to the blog, or perhaps it's own forum or such?

Just my two cents.
Looks like the links to the different blog versions got cut off. Not sure how to fix that.
Ah, you are referring to the links from the Blog... and I was referring to the links from the Google and Bigcartel sites.
Well I can only lament that gameoftheday.com was not available.
